We are excited to welcome you to work with us as a guest artist at Slowside Tattoo Studio, operating on the unsurrendered traditional territories of the xwməθkwəy̓ əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱ wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

What We Offer

●  A fully licensed space with 7 stations and two hand-washing sinks within the studio

●  All supplies except needles, tattoo machines, battery supply

Supplies
We use top of the line supplies and aim to use as many eco-friendly supplies as possible. We provide all supplies necessary for tattooing, including Dynamic Black ink. We are set up best for pen-machine tattooing . If you use another type of tattoo method, you will need to provide your own machine covers, needles, and autoclave.
We do not supply: tattoo machines, tattoo inks (except Dynamic Black ink), needles/cartridges, tubes, grips, or an autoclave.

Pricing Guidelines & Rates

• We have a flat day rate of $150. The amount is payable in cash upon your last appointment with Slowside Tattoo Studio.

  Long-term guests 7 days or more, a reduced rate of $100/day is available.

  Rates can be paid on the last day of the guest spot in cash.

• Artists’ choice to charge your clients by Hourly, Day Rate, or By The Design. If you are unsure what to charge due to different market values in different locations, we can discuss together a rate/pricing based on factors, such as your speed, the market value in our area for your style of work, the type of work you do etc.

Studio Hours

We are an appointment only studio, and you will have 24/7 access on your guest days.

Advertising

We want to promote you! Whenever you have a new flash sheet, an open spot, or a post to share, we will do our best to promote your content. Send your posts to our Instagram, tag @slowside.studio, or add us as a collaborator!

Prospective clients will contact you directly to schedule appointments. We highly recommend having illustrations/ flash designs, etc. before your arrival to our studio so that you are ready to tattoo. Please send us any of your flash designs before your arrival so that we can promote you on all of our social media accounts.
